The city of Baramulla has a rich history literally and it was established in the year 2360 BC. This is one of the best places to visit for those that like a bit of history as well, a number of tourists come here every year to experience the wonders that it has to offer. Again, this is another popular trekking destination and has a number of Kashmir Trekking Routes.

The route here follows the path mentioned below:
Tilail, Alpathar lake, Apharwat, Banibali, Ferozpur, Gagrimarg, Khilanmarg, Leinmarg, NingalNallah, Tosmaidan.


Budgam is a route that attracts scores of trekkers due to the fact that the only airport in the Kashmir valley is located near it. Apart from this there are other attractions that also act as crowd pullers for tourists and trekkers.

Yusmarg, Sunset Peak, Chita Patthar, Tatakuti Peak, Tosmaidan to Gulmarg.
